ELEVATE with AIDigital Playbook

A practical digital resource to help you revisit key frameworks, apply them to live AI opportunities and decisions, share the learning with your team, and prepare for the next stage of ELEVATE with AI.

Use this digital playbook in the way that best supports your needs. Start with the section most relevant to the situation in front of you, explore the areas that are useful now, and return to others whenever the need arises.

Getting started

What this playbook is for

Structure

How to use this playbook

Every framework in the library is built the same way, so you can open any one of them on its own and use it without needing to recall the classroom discussion.

Find the right framework

Start from the situation you are in

Choose the situation closest to what you are working through now. You can return to the map whenever a different need or decision arises. Each row opens the framework built for that moment at its application section.

If none of these quite fit, the Three Judgement Gates are the safest general-purpose starting point: they work for almost any AI proposal that lands on your desk.

Share with your team

Run a knowledge-sharing session

Sharing the learning is one of the core ways to use this playbook. Each framework includes a ready-to-facilitate Share it with your team section, so you can bring the frameworks into conversations with colleagues and help broaden their application across the business. Different frameworks suit different formats — the one that belongs to each framework is set out inside it.

You do not need to be an AI expert to run these

Each framework's Share it with your team section names the format that suits it, who to involve, how to run it, and the module's own questions to use. You are facilitating a business conversation about judgement, not teaching a technical class.

Prepare for Module 3

What Module 2 left open — and where it closes

What came before

Between Module 1 and Module 2 participants completed two post-module tasks: Task 1 · AI Use Case Proposal, developing one initial AI use case for their business area, and Task 2 · Framework-in-Action Reflection Log, reflecting on what they reviewed, what they challenged and how they communicated. Both were carried into Module 2 as the initiative each participant brought into the room.

Framework library

Seven frameworks, organised by the work they support

Each framework is self-contained: why it matters, what it is, when you should use it, how to apply it, and how to share it with your team. Open the framework that best fits the situation in front of you and return to others whenever they become relevant.

How the technology works

Five agentic AI patterns

A practical view of how modern AI systems reason, use tools, coordinate work and access enterprise data safely. Each pattern was earned against a session rather than taught in advance, and together they form the quality checklist run before an investment case leaves the room.

Working with AI

The supporting material

The operating-model and tooling content that sat alongside the gates: when to use a workflow rather than an agent, how autonomy is earned, and why the pricing model is an operating decision rather than a commercial detail.

Every term used in this playbook is also explained where it first appears, so you should never need to come here mid-task. This section is for checking a definition after the fact.

Saving your work

Keeping a copy, if you want one

Anything you type is stored in this browser, on this device, and is not sent anywhere. Saving is a convenience rather than a requirement — the playbook works as a reference resource whether or not you keep notes in it. Save my results as a PDF gives you a readable copy of everything you have written. Download a backup saves the same entries as a data file, so you can restore them if you change browser or device.

This browser is not allowing the page to save data locally, so anything you type will be kept only while this tab is open. Download the file and open it directly from your own computer to keep notes between visits, or use Export a copy before you close the tab.
